Fragile Heart
27/9/2015
Forgive me my fragile heart,
For I have been doing nothing,
But to tear you apart.
Colours

Let me add some colour to the picture;
It seems so black and white.
Perhaps you'll find it harder,
To make things appear a little bright.
A painter is not a painter,
Without his tools and without his canvas.
It goes the same for you,
Don't make things seem so adverse.
Van Gogh has had his heartaches,
But he once saw colour in the stars,
His downfall he played out in his mind,
He never knew he'd come this far.
Try to see it this way then,
The monochrome is just for now,
Patience and positivity pays,
And soon, you'll take a bow.
Words

His words,
They break you,
They make you,
They rake you up,
And they put you down.
They haunt you,
They question you,
They hate you,
And they threaten you.
You can't do anything,
You just can't do anything against them,
You can't deny them,
Or appease them,
You try to change them,
And soften them,
But all you do is to strengthen them.
And then you start to crumble,
And you start to fall,
You find yourself crawling up against the wall.
"Don't hurt yourself!",
They say,
"Don't be stupid!" ,
They say,
But nothing beats the pain of going away.
Because what comes out of everyone,
They're just words,
Words that hurt,
Words that desert,
Words that are mindlessly driven out of dirt.
Words that can kills us,
Words that can break us,
Words formulated just to judge us.
So what comes at the end?
When these words made you lose a friend?
Can these words bend?
Can these words try to make amends?
Or can they hear her soul?
Can they unravel your fouls?
Or will they just be words of console?
Choose your words wisely,
They might not be sightly,
But they might seem more timely,
Than words that kill her slowly,
Drowning out her cries like a baby,
Before she winds up being holy...
